Adam Kruger returns to the Racing Hondas grid at Oulton Park where he hopes to be back on potential podium pace.
The 37-year-old from Peterborough came within two seconds of a Class B podium result in the season’s opening rounds at Anglesey, with a P4 aboard his Ben Sharpe Racing Civic EP3.
He missed Brands Hatch’s most recent rounds due to his work as a demo driver for Honda.
He will arrive at Oulton fresh from representing the Japanese manufacturer at the Goodwood Festival of Speed where before he has driven its latest NSX models up the venue’s famous hill course.
“Anglesey was a bit frustrating – I had the leaders in sight right until near the end of the race when I made a mistake,” reflected Fox’s Motor Company-sponsored Kruger.
“Then it was Cadwell and I’d never been there before – I was bit scared at first but came away loving the place.
“It’d be good to be as close to the Class B leaders at Oulton as I was at Anglesey because I know it’s within me and the car.”
Racing Hondas marks Kruger’s first full season of motorsport having dabbled with other forms of Honda racing in 2023.
He added: “I much prefer this championship. It’s a lot more cost effective without the need for a new engine, tyres and brakes at every event.
“The calendar also offers a good mix of circuits for the drivers and of course there’s the added bonus of racing in front of a big crowd which you don’t get with other club racing.”
