Dan Thackeray, plus father and son Lee and Jack Reynolds are amongst the new names joining he Racing Hondas Championship grid at Brands Hatch this Sunday.

Dan, a title protagonist in other Honda series, is entered in Class B in a Civic EP3 run by Motion Motorsport.

Dan(pictured above) enthused: “I’m excited for my first event in Racing Hondas at Brands Hatch.

“It’s been great following the action so far – the grid is impressive, with an amazing line-up of Hondas, and the weekend package offers a fantastic variety.

“I’m eager for the opportunity to compete against such a strong field of drivers.”

Lee and 24-year-old Jack will race a Class A Integra DC 5 Type R (above) and Class B Civic EP3 respectively for the One Day Motorsport team.

Jack, from Ludlow, Shropshire has previously raced hot hatches whilst Lee has considerable experience in a variety of saloon and sportscar categories.

“Racing alongside my dad has been a dream of mine since I was little so it’s going to be a great experience making it happen at Brands Hatch in Racing Hondas,” said Jack.

“The championship looks awesome with big competitive grids and the crowds and atmosphere, and also gets lots of praise for the way it is run so I can’t wait to be part of it.”

Also joining the grid is Tom Harris from Gloucester who for years has worked as a race technician on Hondas in other categories but recently passed his ARDS race driver’s licence.

“So it’s time to give it a go and Racing Hondas looks like a perfect place to start,” said Tom, whose Civic EP3 is expected to be amongst the Class A brigade, pending final power-to-weight ratio checks.

Brands Hatch’s races on Sunday mark rounds 13 & 14 of this year’s Racing Hondas Championship – the penultimate rounds of the season.
