The major titles might have been decided but there’s still lots to play for in the Racing Hondas Championship’s season finale at Snetterton this Sunday (20 October)

Snetterton marks the conclusion of a remarkable season for the Racing Hondas Championship which, with its bumper grids, exciting on-track action and large crowds, has stood out as one of UK motorsport’s biggest success stories of 2024.

Dan Brown and Liam Collins have secured the top two spots in Class A for the faster, more spectacular prototype cars and Snetterton provides one final chance this year to enjoy their season-long rivalry (Brown’s Civic Bali vs Collins’s supercharged Integra DC2).

Going into Snetterton, it’s Brown 10: Collins 3 in terms of race wins but this doesn’t necessarily reflect just how evenly-matched they have been at times in 2024. Both, surely, will want to end their seasons on personal highs…

Ultra-consistent seasons have bagged the Class B and C crowns for Alfie Jeakins and Ryan Cunningham – the latter’s staggering 12 wins from 14 rounds having given him the outright title, his points tally now insurmountable.

It’s the places behind that need to be decided at Snetterton. And it’s a big deal as the top three in each class will all win paid-for registrations into 2025’s championship, courtesy of Tegiwa.

In Class A, six drivers – Ryan Jenkinson, James Allen, Will Murfin, James Alford, Kevin Talbot and Snetterton local Philip Wright – all have a real chance of that prized third place. Just 23 points cover them with a maximum 37 still available (CLICK HERE for latest points).

In classes B and C, both second and third positions remain up for grabs.

Dave Buky and Nick Charlier hold P2 and P3 in Class B, but both can be caught by Tommy Knight and Loui Hounsell (Charlier will be ineligible to score at Setterton).

In Class C, Sam Linssner is guaranteed a top three place but could yet be deprived of his current second position by  Spencer Fortag (P3 arriving at Snetterton).

However, Fortag needs to watch his own back with Callum Houchen and David Lawrence within touch of him – just 20 and 28 points adrift respectively.

Finals Day always means nerves and unpredictability on track, so for one final time in 2024 sit back and enjoy the spectacle of a bumper grid of Racing Hondas.

The Racing Hondas season finale on Sunday 20 October is part of organiser Club Time Attack’s huge Modified Live show which is set to attract thousands of modified cars and public to the Snetterton circuit. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.
