• Racing Hondas Championship celebrates unprecedented growth in Autosport magazine’s 2024 report

Autosport Magazine, the world’s leading voice in motorsport media which covers everything from Formula 1 to grassroots club racing, has released its findings for the 2024 season.

Amongst the highlights is the Racing Hondas Championship which has achieved a remarkable milestone, being recognised as the fastest-growing grid across all UK racing championships and by a huge margin.

The data, meticulously compiled by Autosport, tracks competitor numbers across every UK series and championship, measuring average grid sizes throughout the year and comparing them with the 2023 season.

The Racing Honda Championship recorded an astounding 175% increase in grid size over the previous year, an unparalleled achievement across the entire UK motorsport scene. The next best growth of any club racing championship was 65%.

This exceptional growth underscores the success of the Time Attack Organisation’s customer-focused approach. By implementing practical, team-supporting initiatives designed to attract and retain participants, the organisation has fostered a thriving and dynamic racing environment.

Andy Barnes, Chairman of Club Time Attack, expressed his delight at the news:
“I am delighted by this  report from Autosport. Of course, we were aware of our success and it’s a clear demonstration of our progress in bringing fresh ideas and tangible solutions to the world of club motorsport.

“There were no gimmicks involved—just well-considered initiatives—and I’m incredibly proud that they’ve been embraced so enthusiastically.

“This achievement reflects the passion and commitment of everyone involved, and I’m excited to see our club continue to flourish as more drivers recognise what we stand for and have been delivering for the past 20 years. Everyone on the grid has had a wonderful year and we already have significant support from drivers for this to continue into 2025.”
