Dave Buky, boss of multiple racing winning outfit Kinetic Motorsport, says he soon expects to confirm a move into Class A of the Racing Hondas Championship for 2025.
Kinetic enjoyed wins in Class B with three different drivers including Buky himself in 2024 and will continue to run cars for customers in the class next season.
But said Buky: “I’m pretty much agreed on a car for 2025 which will hopefully see me mixing it up right at the sharp end in Class A.
“The excitement for me will be going for race wins outright and showing Kinetic can win whatever class we’re in.
“All I’ll say for now is that it is an older model Honda which has some nostalgia for me.”
He continued: “We arguably became the team to beat in Class B in 2024 – with the exception of Anglesey’s opening rounds we had at least one win and other podium results every weekend.
“We have two cars of our own – an EP3 and an FN2 – that we can run on an arrive-and-drive basis for drivers in either Class B or C in 2025.
“Our set-up means we could also run five cars in total if people want to bring their cars to us.
“We have the awning space and a really good network of mechanics to oversee the cars and, as a driver myself, I’d be working with customers on data analysis and helping them find more performance out on the track.

“Whichever class people want to enter, I’m confident we have the skills and experience to run a very competitive car for them.”
Buky says his Leyland, Lancashire-based team’s “fun” reputation fits in well with the friendly nature of the Racing Hondas paddock.
“We like having fun and enjoying the racing which is what Racing Hondas is all about.
“The community is very helpful – even your rivals help you out which is what club motorsport should be all about.
“I really enjoyed the racing in 2024, seeing all the crowds and the public engaging in what we are doing as competitors.
“There’s nothing better than going round Paddock Hill Bend and seeing the whole grandstand and bank full of spectators – you don’t get that anywhere in else in club motorsport.”
