Tegiwa has been nominated as Yokohama’s control tyre supplier to the Racing Hondas grid, the championship’s owner Club Time Attack has confirmed.
Tegiwa will supply Yokohama’s AO52 tyre to the Racing Hondas grid using a unique discounted pricing structure which is only available to Time Attack club members as part of Yokohama’s commitment to the championship.
It is expected that Tegiwa will be ready for tyre enquiries, pricing and supply from next Monday 20 January. Further details will be circulated to teams and drivers soon.
2025 will mark the first year that the Racing Hondas Championship has a control tyre supplier (in Yokohama).
The company’s AO52 tyre – regarded as the best all-round performing tyre by the UK club motorsport scene – will be used on all cars.
Racing Hondas can also confirm that the wheel size limit in its ‘prototype’ Class A will be 9J (or a 9” diameter). In class B and C the limit will be 8″ (the exception being the S2000 Honda model which can use 9″).
